Blueberries

Hello again! This is going to be another Reading With Snacks post. I like reading with fruit, and blueberries are one of my favorite fruits. There are so many reasons why blueberries are great snacks for reading.

Blueberries are small, so you can have a lot without having too much food. They’re easy to grab by the handful without looking when you are absorbed in a book. They don’t have anything on them that will stain the pages of your book, except maybe water, and that will dry. You can also put them in yogurt with honey and graham crackers, another one of my favorite snacks. I also had blueberries and raspberries in ice cream cones for one of my birthday parties. They were so good!

Anyway, blueberries are a wonderful snack for readers. Do you have any favorite snacks that are great for reading? Comment below, and enjoy your blueberries!

Barnes & Noble Cafe

Today, I’m going to talk about the cafe at Barnes & Noble. Barnes & Noble is one of my favorite bookstores, and I really enjoy reading a book I just got at their cafe.

Most of the time, I get a treat and a drink. There are so many choices! I love the blondies, but the sugar cookies are great too. I also love their cupcakes, and their chocolate chunk cookies, and…well, everything! The drinks are from Starbucks, so order your favorite, or try something new! There’s also pop, other cold drinks, and small snacks available for purchase. It’s always so great to sit down with a nice snack or drink and read a good book. There’s nothing like it.

Do you have a favorite snack to read with? A favorite treat from Barnes & Noble? A good book for me to blog about? Comment below. I hope you enjoyed this post.

Biggby Coffee

I’ve decided to make a new category of posts. Introducing…Reading With Snacks! I love eating or drinking while reading, and I figured that you guys might want to know some of my favorite snacks to munch on while reading a good book. This post will be about one of my favorite coffee shops.

I love Biggby Coffee. They have great lattes, hot chocolates, creme freezes, everything! I found out about them when I was at my grandma’s house in Kentucky. I was working on a social studies project with my mom, and I needed a place to work. We went to the coffee shop for a few hours to work on my project with some good drinks. I think it was my first time trying a latte (If they would have coffee in them, I get them as a steamer. Coffee is disgusting!) and it was wonderful! We went back another day, and found out that a new location would be opening close to where I live. When we got back home, I waited and waited for the new location to open. Finally, it did! Now I love going there when I want something fancy to drink (and when my mom will let me). They have hot drinks, but you can also get them iced. It is so nice to have a hot drink with you when you’re reading in the winter, something you can grab without having to look up from your book. Same goes for a cool drink in the summer. When sit-down dining opens back up, Biggby has some great comfy chairs for reading while drinking a nice, cool drink. Best of all, if you wear a mask, you can still go in for a hot chocolate!

Do you know the shop I’m talking about? Do you have a favorite coffee shop to read at? A favorite drink or snack for reading? Comment below. I’ll be watching!
